Types of glass



Beveled glass

This type of glass is characterized by cutting at an angle around the edge of the glass to achieve a prism effect; This effect is typically used to decorate thick mirrors or windows. The effect obtained may change depending on the thickness of the glass and the angle of the cut. The glass can be bevelled either smooth, textured, transparent or colored.



Back painted glass

This type of glass painted on the back is intended to make the color shine when viewed from the front. In principle it was used for industrial-level work, for example, to hide heating ducts and pipes, but today its functionality has even covered areas that are even purely aesthetic. Back painted glass is now frequently used in commercial as well as residential areas.



Bulletproof glass

This type of glass results from the combination of various substances to make a material that is very strong for high speed impacts, in this case a bullet. Usually, it is not glass that is used, but acrylic or solid plastic. Acrylic is much easier to work with and install than glass.

Etched glass

It is the result of etching on the surface of the material. The result is used to decorate windows, doors, trays, any surface that has glass can be incorporated

Fire resistant glass
